The Pre-Filter is a cotton cloth that lines the inside wall of the the HealthMate unit. Pre-filters should be changed from a unit every six months. Their purpose is to stop hair or large dust particles from clogging the interior HEPA filter.
Available in White (used for White, Pink, Blue and Sandstone Units) and Black (used for Black and Silver).
Each HealthMate unit comes with its own unique air filter that should be replaced every three to five years. In the HealthMate the main filter is comprised of two filter medium: activated granular carbon/zeolite mixture and True Medical HEPA paper. In the AllergyMachine there is the True Medical HEPA and the military carbon cloth filter known as HEGA.
